Lean Six Sigma Consultant / Black Belt Manufacturing
Provide Lean Six Sigma consulting and training services for clients in the manufacturing sector.
Key responsibilities:
- Guide leadership / management teams during Lean Six Sigma deployments
- Deliver Lean Six Sigma training in a classroom environment and facilitate hands-on exercises and simulations
- Create, customise, and modify existing Lean Six Sigma training materials for clients based on customer needs assessments and knowledge of industry best practices
- Provide individual mentoring and coaching to Lean Six Sigma practitioners
Minimum Requirements:
- Manufacturing management experience, at line manager level as a minimum
- 3+ years experience as a Black Belt
- Experience applying Theory of Constraints
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAA04) qualification (Desired)
- Experience assisting senior management with Six Sigma deployment
- Experience managing Lean Six Sigma projects, leading Black/Green Belt training and providing focused mentoring and coaching
- Demonstrated mastery and application of Lean and Six Sigma
- Experience developing Lean Six Sigma training plans and associated training materials
- Dynamic approach to presentation/training at all levels of an organisation with the ability to translate concepts into practical application
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and change management skills
- Exceptional computer skills including operation of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, SPC XL and/or Minitab
- University Qualified (BSc/BE)
- Willing to travel as required
